The 1819 Innovation Hub is the front door to the University of Cincinnati and the nerve center of the Cincinnati Innovation District, connecting Fortune 100 and 500 companies to UC student and faculty talent as well as the Greater Cincinnati innovation ecosystem.

To illustrate the benefits of co-locating within the facility, we prioritized photos of events and activities – even for evergreen posts like this profile on corporate partner Kroger.

For the Cincinnati Innovation District accounts as well, we leaned into images of building activities, in this case a panel discussion with Amazon Web Services and other corporate partners.

The introductory post tagged all companies and individuals involved and used cell phone images taken in real time. This wrap-up post showcased professional images and summarized key points.

Along with engaging corporate decision makers on LinkedIn and X, we also targeted the entrepreneurial crowd with messaging about the 1819’s Venture Lab pre-accelerator program. The eight-week program helps innnovators examine the potential of early-stage, scalable ideas. After each graduation day, we scheduled a series of posts spotlighting each team to showcase their accomplishments and encourage other aspiring entrepreneurs to apply for an upcoming cohort.
