The 1819 Innovation Hub’s Makerspace provides tools and training to help artisans and inventors bring their creations to life. To illustrate the benefits for students using the facility, we created an Instagram series on industrial design students’ capstone projects that were enabled by the space.
During a spring design showcase, we sent a professional photographer to take close-ups of the art and devices created. The series was ideal for Instagram because of its aesthetic appeal to Gen Z users, who graviate toward visual platforms.
